Since the UAE is one of our main markets, we participate in local textile fair. In Nov 27-29, Wingtex went to Dubai World Trade Centre as an exhibitor. And we met our regular customers and new customers there. Very appreciated to the organizers’ and customers’ support, this exhibition was a great success. About the fair, the following story will attract you.
Before Textile Fair-What we prepare for IATF?
At the very beginning, we made an invitation to this fair. Then we sent it to customers in UAE and neighboring countries. For this textile fair, we discussed the event planning. So we brainstormed all the ideas about the activity. For example, “New Arrivals” about UPF50+ Fabric for hot weather. You know the hot summer in Dubai will last for a long time. And we made promotions for these fabrics. According to our event and customers’ needs, we prepared types of fabric samples, color swatches, and related wear. Meanwhile, some pictures show the fabric usage. So we did posters about images and promotions.
During Textile Fair-How do we carry out activities?
Every day, we handed out flyers at the entrance of the textile fair. So visitors can get to know our company quickly. If he takes interest in our items we will take him to our booth. Every morning, we held a raffle. Anyone who came to our booth could take part in the draw for a chance to win coupons. And the raffle lasted 1 hour. It was very exciting at that present. Every afternoon, we showed the event poster in the front of the booth. Some visitors came to see the details and decided to take part in or not. Some customers were interested in the hanger samples. Usually, we prepare 3 A4 size samples, so he can take one back. In addition, some customers wanted to order by meters, they put in a deposit for the order and we will deliver the goods when going back to China. Also, we prepared gifts for customers who placed orders on the stand.
After Exhibition-How do we build a close relationship with customers?
We contacted customers who left messages in advance and confirmed if we could visit them or not. If he is available on those days, we will go to visit his company and learn more about the main products. So we can prepare more related samples next time. Of course, we recommended some similar products to them. And we visited our regular clients at the agreed time. For customers who didn’t come to the exhibition for some reason, we sent emails to them and told them the next fair time. So far, the textile fair tour in Dubai has come to a successful end.
