What is liquid ammonia fabric?

Liquid ammonia fabric cotton is a pure cotton fabric with liquid ammonia treatment. It is a fabric finishing method. This is the principle: after the fabric is formed, we place it in liquid ammonia for treatment. It can effectively improve the organizational structure of cotton fabrics. That can also improve the feel of the fabric, fiber toughness, and wrinkle resistance.

Features of liquid ammonia cotton:

1. Since liquid ammonia is faster than water molecules, it can quickly enter the cotton fiber structure, causing changes in its internal molecular structure. After liquid ammonia treatment, the cotton fiber has undergone fundamental changes in both structure and crystallinity, and also changed the mechanical strength of the fabric, which can effectively improve the wear resistance of the fabric and increase its wearing life!

After the liquid ammonia treatment, the cross-section of the cotton fibers changes from an ellipse to a circle, and the cell wall thickens.  At the same time, the gaps inside the molecules gradually shrink.
